The discussion will focus on the relationship between Shiro and Noiz in the graphic noiz story and discuss the hidden dynamics for creating a realistic gay relationship between characters in yaoi manga.
The panel will focus on relationships and writing a soft yaoi story, featuring the graphic noiz manga and novella series.
Some aspects of hard yaoi will be discussed but will remain YA friendly.
One lucky winner will be eligible to win a PDF ebook copy of graphic noiz manga 1 more to follow on this.
The discussion, moderated by Natsukoarts Design Studio will discuss on how relationships in yaoi are sometimes hidden behind unspoken dynamics and how graphic noiz deals with the unspoken boyfriend interaction between the aloof older, bestselling writer Shiro Ijima and the 19 year old manga artist Noiz. graphic noiz does never come out and call the dynamic between the two characters a relationship and Shiro would never refer to Noiz as his boyfriend as that would relinquish his control on their interactions. Noiz would more likely call Shiro his lover but Shiro would never admit that.
This panel will look at the unspoken dynamics between the two characters and discuss how the dramatic elements work between Shiro and Noiz as they dance around each other in the story.
Check back on Valentines day to learn more and follow the discussion on the grydscaen blog.
